BACCHUS in English

Recently I feel like I've been able to express myself well even at lives. I've been able to concentrate more on the songs than I could before, and it's like a weight off my shoulders. I wonder if it's noticeable to everyone?

D.T.M.H. was chosen as the theme song for a movie. I think VENGEANCE for BLOOD is a perfect match for this movie, and they have a lot of things in common. I think it's a good collaboration. And of course, I'm really happy that our work is being recognized.

Apparently you have to call it "hair metal" for people overseas to understand. The latest CDs I've bought are W.A.S.P. and Stryper. Nothing but old-fashioned stuff. Not that I mind.

I was asked about it in a Gothic & Lolita Bible interview, and I realized I don't remember much of my past at all. When I'm asked about times when I laughed or got angry, I can't recall a thing. I guess it just doesn't concern me. I have no interest in the future either. The present just keeps piling up on itself, and the future will come when it wants to.

I actually like kids. The other day I played a lot with my friend's baby (age 0). I think making kids laugh might be a forte of mine?

I think you'll notice it if you see one of our lives, but I think BLOOD's songs are getting heavier and heavier. It adds pressure too, but it's a nice kind of pressure.

I've been taking lessons on how to sing English lyrics. I've learned that I don't really have trouble with pronunciation, but I'm still not good at figuring out where accents go. It seems like there are some spots where I have to pronounce things more strongly than I thought, so it's pretty difficult. I'll get used to it in time.

Since we're in the process of making a few new songs, I've been writing lyrics for them. I think we'll be using more English lyrics for a while. But Japanese has its own unique sound, so we're not switching entirely to English or anything.

I'm really excited since a lot of my favorite artists will have new releases out in May and June. Like The 69 Eyes, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Ozzy Osbourne, and Dimmu Bogir. HIM has a new release too, so I have to get it soon.

I think there's a whole world that revolves around having a narrow point of view, especially among people who call themselves artists. Broadening your outlook and the spread of your personal expression are yet another story.
